"The Moral Meaning of the Bible" starts its second year this Sunday from 4-5:30 p.m. at Shearith Israel Synagogue (Conservative), 2500 Wynnton Road. Classes will be held monthly.

Rabbi Reuven Kimmelman teaches the course via DVD. He is also a professor in the Department of Near East Studies, Brandies University. Commentary is included in the monthly course from local clergy.

Like last year, the course will be held monthly but this year will alternate between Shearith Israel and St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2100 Hilton Ave.

Rabbi Max Roth of Shearith Israel will provide commentary for the first class, and locations will alternate each month, for seven months. The Very Rev. Doug Hahn of St. Thomas will offer teachings when the course comes to his congregation.
