A celebration of Native American Heritage Month on Fort Benning will take place Nov. 19 and include performances by American Indian dancers, singers and musicians.
Chipa Wolf will be the guest speaker for Fort Benning’s Native American Heritage Month celebration at 11:30 a.m. at the Benning Club.
Wolf, an advocate of both American Indian culture and environmental issues, is of both French and Indian descent. He lectures at universities and colleges, corporations, military installations and in other venues, campaigning for sacred site conservancy and a healthier environment for future generations.
