Carter died Sunday after becoming ill during a speech at women's function at Chattahoochee Valley Community College Saturday night.
Services for Carter, 57, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Words of Wisdom Christian Center, 420 38th St. in Columbus. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery.
