If you're too cheap to spring for a ticket to "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," settle for its reality TV equivalent. Sort of.
"Pirate Master" (8 p.m., CBS) stands at the forefront of tonight's TV schedule. Now in its second week, the show — created by reality guru Mark Burnett — is about modern day "pirates" vying to win $1 million.
If buried treasures aren't your thing, turn to Fox. You won't get "American Idol," but you can count on a new episode of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" at 8 p.m. And for the record, I'm not smarter than a fifth-grader. I still haven't mastered the difference between a rhombus and a trapezoid.
After that, expect a new episode of the reality TV competition "So You Think You Can Dance" (9 p.m., Fox). Tonight, this season's top 20 dancers will be revealed at the end of the Las Vegas preliminary rounds.
