Sam Mitchell has tried to see the bright side of being unemployed.
Since the Toronto Raptors fired the Columbus High grad in December, Mitchell has spent time with family and found more time to work on community projects.
“This last Christmas was the first Christmas in 22 years that I had more than one day off to spend with my family,” Mitchell said. “It’s been nice to get a break from everything and relax just a little bit.”
