ATLANTA -- Gov. Sonny Perdue will address a joint session of the Georgia House and Senate at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Perdue is expected to talk about the state's growing budget crisis. There is an expected $2 billiion or more shortfall in the state's $21.5 billion fiscal 2009-10 budget,
Perdue will present the fiscal 2010-11 budget, which must be approved by the General Assembly before going into affect on July 1, today. The revenue shortfall is expected to be worse next year.
