'American Idol' goes to Hollywood

With the audition phase over, the real competition starts tonight during Hollywood Week on "American Idol." The one-hour show starts at 8 p.m. on Fox.

This year's Hollywood Week actually spans two weeks, culminating in next Wednesday's announcement of the top 36 contestants. Those singers will perform for viewers' votes during semifinals.

But don't expect too many surprises in Hollywood -- especially since a spoiler list naming the 36 alleged finalists recently hit the Internet.

See that list and more at reporter Sonya Sorich's "American Idol" blog. As usual, she'll blog tonight's show "live" so you can get minute-by-minute candid commentary.
