Historic Columbus Foundation's February Lunch and Lecture will focus on the Gertrude "Ma" Rainey, who is considered to be "the mother of the blues."
The lecture will begins at noon Feb. 26 in the St. James AME Church's fellowship hall, 1002 Sixth Ave.
There will be a lecture by historian Fred Fussell, followed by a tour of the Ma Rainey House and Blues Museum led by Florene Dawkins.
Bring a lunch; soft drinks and desserts will be provided.
