The Columbus Film Society's screening room movie this week at Carmike's Peachtree theater is "Let the Right One In," the haunting tale of a bullied boy named Oskar, who meets another 12-year-old named Eli, a pale and somber brunette who only comes out at night and seems unaffected by the frozen air.
With Eli's arrival comes death. Bodies turn up, one tied to a tree, another frozen in a lake, a third bitten in the neck.
Oskar and Eli fall in love, and he learns to fight his bullies and overcome his fears.
