Local hot spots will open their doors to Mardi Gras fans Tuesday, boasting drink specials, live entertainment and, of course, lots of beads.
Here's a look at some of the parties:
-Downtown bars celebrate with a Mardi Gras Block Party, when one cover gets you into the majority of Broadway nightclubs. This time, block party wristbands are half-price. Expect to pay about $5.
-SoHo Bar & Grill, 5751 Milgen Road, hosts a party with drink specials, party favors and an open mike night.

-The Shanty Shack, 4475 Warm Springs Road, will have drink specials and party favors. The Chattanooga-based rockers from Down Stroke will play 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
-Belloo's, 900 Front Ave., serves up drink specials like Mardi Gras Electric Punch, Fat Tuesday jello shooters and a New Orleans Bloody Mary Martini. Beads will be available, too.
