Carl Pinkert has been selected as a new associate vice president for research at Auburn University.
He will work in the Office of the Vice President for Research.
Pinkert will promote and develop multidisciplinary research initiatives across the university campus, coordinate activities among the associate deans for research and work on projects to improve proposal development and submission.
Pinkert currently serves at Auburn as associate dean for research and graduate studies and professor of pathobiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
