Columbus is now under a tornado warning until 10:15 a.m.
The warning is in effect for Harris and northern Muscogee Counties.
According to thee National Weather Service report issued at 9:46 a.m., at 9:44 a.m., National Weather Service radar continued to indicate a strong storm with possible tornado. The storm was located over Goat Rock Lake and moving east at 50 mph.
Other locations included in the warning include Fortson, Cataula, Midland, Hamilton, Ellerslie, Pine Mountain, Upatoi, Valley, Waverly Hall and Shiloh.
