A 39-year-old Columbus man told police Friday he was robbed of $215 after a man threatened him with a broken glass bottle.
At around 9:50 a.m., police were called to an armed robbery on Havenbrook Court off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The victim told police he had returned home to his apartment around 2:15 a.m. That’s when a man he knew as “Ryan” approached him in the parking lot and held a broken glass bottle to him. The victim was not hurt, but the robber got away with $215, said Columbus Police Sgt. Harvey Hatcher.
The man is described as black, 37 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 140 pounds.
