Chattahoochee Valley residents can expect thunderstorms today, forecasters say.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely before 2 p.m., with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent and between one and two inches of rain is possible.The rest of the day is excepted to be cloudy, with a high temperature near 71 degrees and a south wind blowing between 10 and 15 mph.
Tonight there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm likely after 2 a.m. The chance of precipitation is around 60 percent and between a tenth and quarter of an inch is possible, with higher amounts possible during thunderstorms. The rest of the night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature around 57 degrees and a south wind around 5 mph.
