Columbus Symphony Orchestra's S'MORES program is Saturday

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra S'MORES program, the "Saturday Mid-day Orchestra Rehearsals," is 12:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Bill Heard Theatre, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, 900 Broadway. The incorrect time was in To Do today.

Saturday night's concert, "Sergiu Plays Mendelssohn," features Columbus State University professor of violin Sergiu Schwartz. The program includes Haydn’s “Symphony No. 22 in E-Flat Major (The Philosopher)” and Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto in E-Minor, Opus 64” and “Symphony No. 3 in A-Minor, Opus 56.”

The S'MORES is a way for seniors who are unable to get out at night, and children and students. Tickets are $5 for seniors older than 60, adults bringing children and fine arts students; $3 for children 11 and younger. Call 706-323-5059.

The CSO concert tickets are $22-$36; $10 student rush 30 minutes before the show starts, $5 for children 11 and younger.
