On April 16 Fort Benning's Office of the Staff Judge Advocate will participate in National Healthcare Decisions Day in an effort to encourage military retirees and adult military ID card holders with decision-making capabilities to have both the information and the opportunity to communicate and document their future healthcare decisions.
The Legal Assistance Division of the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate is located at Building 359, Ingersoll Street on post. The office will offer walk-in service to all military and retiree ID card holders from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 16 for consultation and preparation of Advance Medical Directives.
Among the questions that will be answered are:What is an advanced medical directive? What is a living will? What is a durable health care power of attorney
