Columbus residents to hold "Tea Party" protesting taxes, spending

Some Columbus residents will participate in their own version of the Boston Tea Party on April 15 in protest of government taxes and deficit spending policies.

The rally, which will take place at 6 p.m. at the Government Center's Veterans Memorial on 9th Street, is part of National Tea Party Day. Similar rallies will be held in cities across the country.

Those who participate won't be allowed to bring signs attached to posts of any kind. Poster boards are OK.
