Muscogee County School District to hold public forum on district's charter application

The Muscogee County School District will hold a public forum to discuss its application to become a charter system today at 5:30 p.m. in Room 106 of the old Bradley Library on Bradley Drive.

Becoming a charter system would allow the district more local control in exchange for greater accountability from the state in terms of student achievement and test scores.

A copy of the district's charter system application can be viewed at the Department of Academics office, Room 107 of the old Bradley Library.

The district will also hold another forum on the charter system application at the Bradley Library at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.
