Columbus crime prevention commission seeks public input

Got ideas for preventing crime? Then Columbus' Mayor’s Commission on Crime Prevention wants to hear from you.

The commission created by Mayor Jim Wetherington will hold a meeting for public comment at 6 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium of the Columbus Public Library on Macon Road.

The commission invites residents "to voice their ideas regarding possible initiatives to help prevent crime in our city," says its chairman, attorney Frank Myers.
