Georgia's largest ceramics exhibit/sale opens Friday in Macon

Fifty-eight ceramics artists from around Georgia will be in Macon, Ga. from Friday to April 26 when the 4th annual "Macon Arts Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale" takes place.

It's the state's largest ceramics exhibit/sale with more than 2,000 pieces of hand-crafted work.

The event takes place in the Round Building at Central City Park.

The preview party is Friday night from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work. There will live jazz music. Tickets for that are $25.

Daily admission for the show is $5.

Show times are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday and noon to 6 p.m. during the week.
