City officials found fishing lines, metal and other debris blocking a drain at the Charter Oaks Watershed today.
The watershed was at the center of recent flooding on Teak Drive. It was pumped low enough today to inspect a clogged drain.
During heavy rain, a drain was partially clogged , sending thousands of gallons of water over the emergency spillway on April 2. Three of 11 homes off Schomburg Road in a cul-de-sac had flood water inside and a fourth was damaged with a washed out yard as water cascaded down the creek bank.
