Alabama-Vanderbilt to play doubleheader Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — With a forecast calling for rain and severe weather on Sunday in the Nashville area, Alabama and Vanderbilt decided to move Sunday's game up to today.

The teams will play two, nine-inning games beginning at 4 p.m.

Alabama (25-13, 8-8 SEC) won the series opener 10-4 Friday, by scoring six runs in the eighth inning with two outs to snap a 4-4 tie.
