School assignment letters going to parents

Approximately 7,000 letters are being mailed to parents or guardians of Muscogee County School District students that will advise them of their child's school assignment for the 2009-2010 school year.

Parents of rising sixth and ninth grade students and those with new home addresses will get assignment letters.

Parents of students who moved after a school assignment has been made or parents of students new to the school district should report to Central Registration in the Columbus Roberts Center at 539 Brown Avenue.
