It had disaster potential, but disco night on "American Idol" surprisingly resulted in an overall entertaining hour of performances.
Guitar-playing Kris Allen stood at the top of the pack with an acoustic version of "She Works Hard for the Money." Judges also praised Adam Lambert's emotional, falsetto-driven take on "If I Can't Have You."
The biggest train wreck of the night? Lil Rounds, who fell flat with her performance of "I'm Every Woman." She's likely to go home Wednesday. She'll probably be joined on the double elimination night by Matt Giraud, whose rendition of "Stayin' Alive" wasn't good enough to, well, stay alive.
