Parole board seeks input on faith-based initiative

Tonight the State Board of Pardon and Paroles will hold a faith-based initiative meeting at the Liberty Theatre Cultural Arts Center located at 821 Eighth Ave.

The meeting, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m, seeks input on a program designed to address the gaps in services for parolees not covered by traditional parole board programming or other non-profit organizations through collaborations with local faith-based groups.

The Rev. Allen Page III will serve as host. The meeting will allow for volunteers who desire to assist offenders in the rehabilitation process to sign up.
