CSU Schwob School of Music graduate returns to present a voice recital

There's going to be a rare summer voice recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Studio Theatre, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, 900 Broadway.

Paula Sides, a 2005 graduate of the Columbus State University Schwob School of Music, will perform. She's been living in England for the past 2 1/2 years, touring in England and Ireland with the Opus I Opera. She's sung the roles of Mimi in "La Boheme" and Inez in "Il Trovatore." She also performed in Scotland's Fringe Festival and tours throughout the United Kingdom and Italy.

Sides was recently accepted in the masters program in the Royal College of Music in London.

Monday's recital will feature songs composed by Mozart, Schubert, Liszt and Faure and will debut recent music by British composer Thomas Lydon.
