On Tuesday, PAWS Columbus, Inc. in partnership with the Muscogee Youth Development Camp will hold the first graduation ceremony for the participants of the PAWS to Care program.
The program, the brainchild of Judge Aaron Cohn, a member of the PAWS Board, has children at the Muscogee Youth Development Center working and bonding with PAWS shelter animals. The children learn the basics of dog husbandry and training.
The goal of the program is for participants to develop respect for self and others as well as learning responsibility.
The graduation is postponed until further notice.
