Columbus hairstylist seeks funds for orphaned children

Chalet Kossey, a Columbus hairstylist, is going to Vietnam to work at orphanages and is seeking donations of money and other items to use for the children.

There will be a cut-a-thon on Sunday at Cooper's at Uptown across from the River Center from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Donations of $20 and other needs such as lice shampoo, infant sunscreen, multi-vitamins, insect repellent and teaching supplies will be accepted.

"These children need so much," said Kossey. "I want to help in any way I can and through the support of this community, hopefully, I can do some good over there."
