WTVM and One Columbus to hold forum on diversity

One Columbus and WTVM will present a public forum on diversity at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 at the RiverCenter's Studio Theater.

The forum will be broadcast live on WTVM and will feature issues that have affected the Chattahoochee Valley since the election of President Barack Obama.

The forum will cover the historical significance of the election of the nation's first black president and what it means for race relations. The economy, unemployment, inflation and the credit crisis will also be addressed.

WTVM anchor Barbara Gauthier will anchor the hour-long broadcast. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to register by emailing onecolumbus4@msn.com or by calling 706-315-0162.
