Kids 12 and younger eat dinner free with parents at IHOP through Sept. 13

Good news for families on a budget — children 12 and younger can have dinner free at two IHOP locations in Columbus through Sept. 13 during the restaurant chain's "Kids Eat Free" promotion.

In a 2006 Time magazine story, children who eat dinner with their parents most of the time are 40 percent more likely to make As and Bs than other children who eat with their families two or fewer times a week.

“IHOP has always been a destination for families, and we are proud to make spending family time over dinner easy for parents without sacrificing quality and value,” said Carolyn O’Keefe, IHOP’s senior vice president of marketing.

Families who dine in at IHOP from 4-10 p.m. daily will receive one free Kid’s Meal with each adult entrée purchase. The free meal is valid for kids 12 and under on IHOP’s “Just for Kids” menu items (drinks are not included unless otherwise specified on the “Just for Kids” menu). The offer is not valid with any other discounts, coupons or specials.

The two IHOP restaurants are 2111 Airport Thruway (706-323-1199) and 2939 Northlake Parkway (706-507-1635).
