Auburn crime: Woman charged with burglary

An Auburn woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly breaking into and stealing jewelry from two Lee County homes.

Auburn Police Division arrested Ytevia N. Finley, age 30, of Auburn, on warrants charging her with two counts of first degree theft of property and one count of second degree theft of property, a press release said.

The arrest stems from the investigation of thefts that occurred over the past two months at two homes located in the 1700 block of Lee Road 12 and 2500 block of Alabama Highway 14 West.

Jewelry was stolen in each case.

Finley was transported to the Lee County Detention Center to await bond.
