A Columbus teenager told police he was shot at twice while standing in front of his home Friday.
Police were called to the 3100 block of Doyle Avenue around 9 p.m. to meet with the 15-year-old. Police Lt. Steve Cox said the teen told two officers he was on the street outside of his house when a burgundy SUV pulled up in front.
A man jumped out of the vehicle and tried to hit the victim. Then a second man, armed with a revolver, shot at him twice, said the teen. He was not injured during the incident.
The two attackers fled in the vehicle, which had at least five other men inside.
