Muscogee County School District celebrates Red Ribbon Week

All the schools in the Muscogee County School District will celebrate Red Ribbon Week this week with a series of activities encouraging students to stay drug free.

Monday, Oct. 26, is Red Ribbon Awareness day. Students and teachers will wear red ribbon as a reminder to stay drug free. The rest of the week's activities are as follows:

Tuesday, Oct. 27: Kicking out Drugs! Students may wear mismatched shoes.Wednesday, Oct. 28: Wear red to say no to drugsThursday, Oct. 29: Shade out Drugs! Students may wear sunglasses.Friday, Oct. 30: Scare away Drugs! Students may wear a Halloween mask.

Classes will also make banners to hang outside their classrooms and some art students will paint posters to hang along each school's driveway.
