Building named after former Columbus Police Chief

The Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police has named its building in Duluth, Ga. after former Columbus Police Chief Curtis McClung.

"Nobody deserves this more than Curtis McClung," said Frank Rotondo, the executive director of the GACP. "He is a true gentleman. He has always felt that education and training were paramount to success in the field."

McClung, 81, was police chief from 1971 to 1980.
