Muscogee County School students wear red to say no to drugs

All the schools in the Muscogee County School District will celebrate Red Ribbon Week this week with a series of activities encouraging students to stay drug free.

Today, students and teachers are encouraged to wear red, to signify that they are saying no to drugs.

The rest of the week's activities are as follows:

Thursday, Oct. 29: Shade out Drugs! Students may wear sunglasses.Friday, Oct. 30: Scare away Drugs! Students may wear a Halloween mask.

Classes will also make banners to hang outside their classrooms and some art students will paint posters to hang along each school's driveway.
