Columbus crime: Benning Hills Elementary, Spencer High burglarized

Two Columbus schools were burglarized over the weekend, police said.

The suspect or suspects entered Benning Hills Elementary School, 190 Munson Drive, at 6:26 p.m. Sunday, reports state. They entered through a west door, broke glass and ransacked rooms. It’s unknown whether anything was taken.

Suspects also entered Spencer High School, 4340 Victory Drive, sometime Sunday or early Monday, police said. The front door was shattered and a flat-screen TV was taken from the library.
