Dancing with the Stars: Mya is in first, Donny Osmond and Aaron Carter are in trouble

Monday's quarterfinals of "Dancing with the Stars" featured two full dances — one Latin and one ballroom — from each of the five remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners. At the top of the leader board are singer Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin, who were just one point shy of receiving a perfect 60 points for their two dances. All three judges gave them 10 points for their exciting 1970's samba set to "Bad Girl." The couple received 10s from Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli for their quickstep, but Carrie Ann Inaba gave them a 9.

Model Joanna Krupa and partner Derek Hough received a total of 52 points for their futuristic paso doble and quickstep. Singer Kelly Osbourne and partner Louis Van Amstel received a total of 51 for their 1960's jive and their foxtrot.

At the bottom of the leader board, with 50 points each, are singer Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff, who danced the foxtrot and a 1990's samba, and singer Donny Osmond and partner Kym Johnson, who danced the Viennese Waltz and a 1980's paso doble.

One couple will be eliminated on Tuesday's results show. The celebrity with the lowest combined total after Monday's judges' scores are added to viewers' votes will be sent home from the competition.

Here's a recap of the Latin dances:

Singer Donny Osmond and partner Kym Johnson earned 24 points for their 1980's paso doble that featured crazy costumes and clownish makeup.

Len Goodman, 8: "It was the most crazy, bizarre, scary paso doble I've ever seen. A cross between Adam Ant and Adam Carolla. But I liked it."

Bruno Tonioli, 8: "Talk about time travel." He compared the campy style of the dance and the colorful face paint to a drag-queen convention.

Carrie Ann Inaba, 8: "I thought it was hysterical... It was a little insane."

Singer Kelly Osbourne and partner Louis Van Amstel earned 26 points for their energetic 1960's jive.

Len Goodman, 9: "You have been an absolute revelation to me... You've come in week after week stronger and stronger."

Bruno Tonioli, 9: "Groovy baby... What an achievement."

Carrie Ann Inaba, 8: "Definitely one of your best performances."

Bruno Tonioli, 10: "A masterful reinvention of a classic. Derek you're a genius."

Carrie Ann Inaba, 9: "That was outstanding."

Len Goodman, 10: "Genius that was... Not only was all that theme of the dance great, the content of paso doble was great. It was fantastic."

Singer Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff earned 27 points for their 1990's samba which incorporated some of the era's famous boy-band moves.

Bruno Tonioli, 9: "All the energy now has finally made good."

Carrie Ann Inaba, 9: "You are truly a great performer you smoothed out all the edges."

Len Goodman, 9: "You sold it, and you really, really worked your socks off."

Singer Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin earned a perfect score of 30 points for their 1970s samba.

Len Goodman, 10: "You were absolutely on fire. Your hips were hypnotic... You've produced two dances of the highest quality with no gimmicks.

Carrie Ann Inaba, 10: "I believe it. I believe you want to win this competition... It was beyond belief." Before Mya's dance, Carrie Ann had said Mya's biggest challenge was showing the audience and the judges that she really wanted to win the competition.

Bruno Tonioli, 10: "I love bad girls and you're the baddest of them all."

Bruno Tonioli, 8: "It looked like you were running away from the scene of a crime... Not one of your best performances."

Singer Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff earned 23 points for their foxtrot which had a few mistakes but was applauded for its level of difficulty.

Bruno Tonioli, 8: "It was a little bit tense... I can really see you worked very, very hard."
