Nerdacon starts tonight at Columbus State University

Nerdacon, a two-day science fiction and fantasy convention hosted by the Campus Nerds, starts tonight at Columbus State University.

The free event features panels, a costume contest, games and more. You'll be able to discuss topics like anime and live-action role-playing.

It's 6-11:30 p.m. tonight and 10 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Saturday at CSU's Davidson Student Center.

The convention is family-friendly, though some panels are designed for guests 18 and older.
