Two auditoriums at Columbus' Carmike 15 have already sold out for Thursday's midnight showing of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

Dale Hurst, director of marketing for Carmike Cinemas, gave the update this afternoon. He added that Carmike has opened a third auditorium in the theater for the premiere and will open additional auditoriums as the demand increases.

Hurst has high expectations for Thursday's midnight premiere. He said it could potentially be record-breaking -- "not only for us, but for the industry as well."

Tickets for the midnight showing are $9.25 for adults and $6.25 for children under 12. Carmike 15 is at 5555 Whittlesey Blvd.
