Columbus State University art student, Ushma Desai, parked her 14-foot rented U-Haul truck in the middle of the CSU campus Monday afternoon. 'Intersections' is a mobile art exhibit which aims to challenge the idea of the traditional gallery space. The intention of the exhibit is to bring the 2-dimensional photographs, paintings, and drawings to the public, with the hopes that more people will have a chance to see it. Desai drove the truck around Atlanta over the weekend and also parked it in front of the Rivercenter for The Performing Arts Monday evening. This exhibit, with the help of co-curator Kim Crowell, was partially funded by the Undergraduate Research Grant from the CSU Office of the Provost.
