Enoch C. Morris Jr. and RiverCenter for the Performing Arts have parted ways, effective immediately.
"It was a mutually agreed-upon decision," said Darlene Hughes Kittrell, the public relations manager, "with both parties deciding to go their separate ways."
Morris was just the second executive director of RiverCenter, following James Baudoin, who saw the facility built.
Morris could not be reached for comment.
