A cab driver was shot twice in the head early Thursday, though he’s in stable condition, Columbus police said.
The 60-year-old City Cab driver had picked up a woman and was near Pierpoint Avenue and 31st Street around 5 a.m. when he was stuck twice in the back of his head, said Lt. Freddie Blackmon.
The suspect, a heavyset woman between 20 and 30 years old, escaped.
The cab driver took himself to Doctors Hospital, where he was in stable condition, Blackmon said.
