Just when you thought the "Pants on the Ground" craze was over: The Internet is buzzing with claims that the song could be a copycat version of another anti-sagging anthem.
Brothers from the Detroit area told their local Fox affiliate that General Larry Platt's "Pants on the Ground" is alarmingly similar to "Back Pockets on the Floor." The Green Brothers recorded that tune in 1996.

"Pants on the Ground" became an Internet sensation after Platt performed it during the "American Idol" Atlanta auditions. The episode aired about two weeks ago, but remixes of the tune are still popping up online.
