Sirens will go off Wednesday morning as part of an annual drill for Severe Weather Awareness Week in Georgia.
Riley Land of the Emergency Management Office said the city of Columbus will take part in the state-wide event coordinated by the National Weather Service. The tornado drill should occur sometime between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
After the drill is completed, there will not be a "All Clear" tone sent on siren.
