Tuesday night's "American Idol" auditions in Denver featured few train wrecks -- with the exception of Bikini Boy. That's Ty Hemmerling, the bikini-clad male singer who performed "Achy Breaky Heart." He didn't advance.
Fortunately, the rest of the show was a little more promising. Highlights included Haeley Vaughn, a black pop-country singer. Sob story: She almost died at birth.
Viewers also met Nicci Nix, a singer you might recognize as Nicole Palmeri from "Making the Band." She also appeared on reality shows like "Next," "Exposed," "Date My Mom" and "Fear Factor." She flew to the auditions from Italy and advanced to Hollywood.
Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, returned for another guest judge stint in Denver. She was a little more helpful than her first appearance in Boston, but still didn't reach the caliber of Katy Perry or Neil Patrick Harris.
