An alert was sent out Wednesday night to Harris County Carver Middle School parents notifying them about a threat that had been made against the student body.
Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley said a student at the school wrote a threatening message on a bathroom mirror Wednesday afternoon. There were no incidences of violence or disruption at the school today, the sheriff said.
Superintendent Craig Dowling said the incident was "middle school foolishness" and is under investigation. Investigators have narrowed the suspects down to two students. Dowling said the punishment for the student responsible would vary based on past conduct and other factors, but it was offense that would merit school suspension at the least.
