Coheed and Cambria: "The Broken"

American rock band Coheed and Cambria will release its latest album, "Year of the Black Rainbow" on April 13.

This morning, Feb. 9, at midnight, the band released its first single, "The Broken," according to Coheed's official website. The song is 3 minutes and 53 seconds long.

The album will hit stores on April 13 and will be released by Columbia in both a standard format and a deluxe edition which includes a 352-page, hardcover novel. The novel is written by the band's lead singer Claudio Sanchez and NY Times bestselling author Peter David.

* "Making of" DVD featuring studio and interview footage

* Coheed and Cambria "Black Card." Black Card cardholders will be eligible for early entrance to selected shows, discounts on band merchandise and exclusive downloads and offers.

Fans can preorder the band's new album on its official website. Click the link on the left to visit Coheed's site and get a glimpse of "Year of the Black Rainbow." The hardcover deluxe edition is $39.99 while the standard CD costs $12.

Coheed and Cambria hails from New York. The band has released four studio albums and two live albums to date.
