Phenix City police continued their investigation the day after a Tuesday shooting that left two men dead at a barber shop.
Shedrick Antonio Dixon, 34, of Phenix City, and Keith Weeks, 37, of Smiths, Ala., were shot at Rad Kutz Barber Shop, 101 S. Seale Road, around 1:30 p.m. Less than 24 hours later, Capt. Frank Ivey said officers were still interviewing witnesses and looking for a third man believed to be involved in the shooting.
"We’re not really able to say who this person is at this time," Ivey said. "We are reasonably sure that there is a third person."
One of the men who was killed was at the barber shop for a haircut. The other came to the shop to argue with him, Assistant Police Chief Robert Casteel said. The chief added that police didn’t yet know why the pair was arguing.

Dixon was found dead inside the barber shop. Weeks was found on the sidewalk outside the business, authorities said. Weeks was taken to The Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. said.
Weeks had one gunshot wound. Dixon had multiple wounds. Most of the wounds were to the middle to upper torso, Ivey said.
There was minimal damage to the business, the captain added.
Ivey said there were about five to six witnesses either inside the shop during the shooting or who know something about the shooting.
"We’ve heard a lot of rumors about what led to this event," Ivey said, adding that some interviews have yielded conflicting information.
Police believe more than one shooter was involved. One of the weapons, a handgun, was recovered. The other hasn’t yet been found.
Officers also received information about a dark, late model Chevrolet, possibly an Impala, with large, chrome rims that was at the scene of the shooting, Ivey said.
