AUBURN, Ala. -- Lucas Hargrove matched a season-high 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Auburn beat Georgia 82-63 at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday.
The Tigers (12-12, 3-6 SEC) got 16 points from Tay Waller, 12 from DeWayne Reed and 11 from Frankie Sullivan in what was their first win by double digits in league play.
Georgia's Trey Thompkins, whose 17.5 points per game are second best in the conference, fouled out with 8:33 remaining. He finished with six points, four rebounds and six turnovers in only 13 minutes.
The Bulldogs (11-13, 2-7 SEC) dropped to 0-8 in road games.
