Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Ga., is renovating and adding onto the Marshall Student Center cafeteria.
Originally constructed in 1966, the cafeteria is currently 4,628 square feet. After the renovation, the facility will be 6,400 square feet.
There will be seating for 425 students, an increase of 20 percent.
The number of meals served has increased by 25 percent over the last two years.
